The University of California Press and its distribution clients publish many distinguished series. Every series in which at least one title is in print (or announced for publication within the next six months) is listed below.

The series listed below represent only a portion of the total number of books published by the Press. Prospective authors interested in submitting their manuscripts and/or proposals for consideration are encouraged to consult our manuscript submission policies for a complete list of areas and Sponsoring Editors. Your book need not fit into one of our series below to be considered.

On each series list, any gaps in the numbering (e.g, 1, 2, 4, 7, 10) indicate either that a title originally in the series is out of print or that a title scheduled to be in the series has not yet been formally announced for publication.
